No 1 The Paragon is an 18th Century Georgian Townhouse located in a perfect location to explore the City of Bath. This first floor self catering apartment was home to Jane Austen and her mother when first residing in Bath in 1801. This historical apartment offers everything you need during your stay and is a short walk away from all of the heritage sites that Bath has to offer.

No.1 The Paragon is just a step away from all of the essential places that Bath has to offer! Located just on the very edge of the City Centre, a 5 minute walk will lead you to any of the landmarks or attractions that are an essential visit while staying with us. We are always happy to recommend the best places to see, including The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge to name a few.
If you would like to learn more about the history of Jane Austen then we certainly recommend a visit to the Jane Austen Centre. You’ll even get a chance to dress up in Regency costumes, including top hats, bonnet’s, shawls, fans and dresses!
